It’s called Huawei Ascend P6 and it is the new smartphone just presented by Huawei, characterized by great power and a super-slim design.
Huawei is launching a new smartphone this time focusing on an extremely slim profile, housing a rather powerful core.
The device is called Huawei Ascend P6 and at first glance, it seems to share common traits (aesthetically speaking) with the iPhone 5.
The operating system is Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, however, the company has implemented a customization using the Emotion UI 1.6 interface.
Regarding the operational core of the Huawei Ascend P6, the included processor is a Huawei K3V2 quad-core clocked at 1.5 GHz.
This is complemented by 2 GB of RAM and only 8 GB of internal memory available by default; of course, it is possible to expand the internal storage capacity using a microSD card up to 32 GB.
The display is a 4.7-inch HD (312 ppi) and concerning the camera equipment, there are two cameras available: the main one is 8 megapixels and is located on the back, with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and 4 cm macro view.
Perhaps more impressive is the front-facing, secondary camera: it is a full 5 megapixels and can also record 1080p video.
Perhaps there are only two drawbacks to this smartphone: the lack of an LTE network module and the 2000 mAh battery, which is a bit meager compared to the rest. However, it must be said that the company has equipped the new Huawei Ascend P6 with consumption optimization technology which, according to the manufacturer, reduces consumption by about 30% compared to other products in the same class.
No official indication of the price of the Huawei Ascend P6, but sales are expected to be around 449 euros.
The last note concerns the available colors: the white, black, and pink versions have been announced, all three available in Europe starting from July.
