The HTC One Max is the new smartphone – or rather, phablet – arriving in Italy for HTC: here are the price, release date, and technical specifications.
HTC has decided to continue leveraging the successful combination of elements used for its flagship device, the HTC One, by proposing a new device built with very similar premises.
It’s called the HTC One Max and is effectively the evolution of its predecessor, this time offered in a phablet format, thus with expanded dimensions: hence the name “Max“.
The operating system this phablet will feature is Android Jelly Bean 4.3, with the Sense 5.5 interface.
As for its technological heart, it includes a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor and 2 GB of RAM. Internal memory will be available in two storage options: 16 GB or 32 GB. In both cases, it can be expanded using a microSD card.
The screen is the highlight, if only for its size: it is indeed a 5.9-inch Full HD 1080p display.
More was expected from the main camera, which is limited to just 4 Megapixels but compensates with the presence of Ultra Pixel technology.
Connectivity will also include NFC, and finally, to support the device’s autonomy, it will feature a 3300 mAh battery: quite commendable.
The release of this maxi phablet from HTC is expected by the end of October 2013 or at the latest in early November, and regarding the price of the HTC One Max, we are talking about a minimum of around 699 euros.
Therefore, it is once again a device positioned in the high-end segment.
