Google Instant Preview is the new tool presented today by Google: it is a preview of search results, in line with what was initiated with Google Instant.
Google Instant Preview is today’s innovation in search and search result analysis on the Mountain View engine. According to its aims, Google Instant Preview should allow users to save time by finding the information they are looking for more intuitively. This is achieved through a visual comparison of the proposed results and via text boxes that highlight the presence of search keywords within the displayed sites.
In practice, after typing the query of interest, the magnifying glass symbol will appear next to each search result; clicking on it will show a preview of the relevant site. If a mouse is not available, the right arrow key can be used.
For those with an excellent photographic memory, seeing a preview of a site, perhaps visited previously, immediately will certainly be an advantage for their search.
At the moment, Google Instant Preview is already available on Google.com, while Italian users will see the innovation in the coming days.
