Google+ for businesses launched

Google+ opens up its social network also to businesses: after thoroughly testing circles and sharing mechanisms with personal profiles, the time has come to include businesses as well.
In particular, Google has made available a new feature related to the use of Google Apps: businesses with a Google+ profile can therefore decide to authorize profile linking for employees through Google Apps for Business.
The practical application of the system is simple: it will be possible to participate in video conferences among authorized users via Hangout; consult shared documents; work simultaneously on the same files saved in the cloud on Google Docs, even remotely, creating this social network always and in any case tied to the main profile of the company in question.
Obviously, all participants in these special circles must have a personal profile on Google+.
In the coming days, in this regard, Google will provide a special tool that will allow the migration of contacts and settings from the personal profile to the business one: this function is useful only to those who prefer interacting via Google Apps rather than via personal profile.
The system is far from perfect at this time; after all, it is a first version that will certainly see changes over the coming weeks.
Apparently, some objections have already been raised: the administrator of a Google+ business profile can delete posts and shares of employees and in some cases – it seems – it would even be possible to access the private profiles of those connected to this social-business network.
All this, as is easily understandable, undermines the privacy of participants in these work groups connected through a company account on Google+.
