Google Bard is a new conversational AI tool that will be made available for public testing. It is Google’s competitor to the popular ChatGPT.
Thanks to the excellent reviews that ChatGPT has received from users around the world, Google officials have previously defined the AI platform as “code red.” Google announced that it is making Bard available to “trusted testers” in a blog post before making it freely available to the public in the coming weeks.
Google AI and how it works
Like ChatGPT,Google Bard is an AI-powered bot that can answer a variety of questions in a conversational tone. According to Google, Bard leverages online resources to provide intelligent and up-to-date answers. Transformer, a neural network architecture, and LaMDA, Google’s language model, are the brains behind the chatbot.
Interestingly, Transformer, and the GPT-3 language model are both the foundations of ChatGPT. Furthermore, Transformer was developed and released by Google Research in 2017.
How to use Bard AI
To use Google AI’s chatbot first, you need to have been selected as a beta tester. If so, all you need to do is open the Google app on your phone and tap the chatbot icon. Enter your query and press Enter, just like on ChatGPT.
The chatbot can then answer your questions or requests to start a conversation. In order to provide new and exciting ways to interact with information, Google is also actively working to improve and enhance the chatbot’s capabilities.
Where to find Google Bard AI
Only a few people can currently access Google Bard AI for testing. Google is creating a “lightweight LaMDA model version” to reduce the time and resources used for processing.
Once the Google Bard AI link is shared, it is expected to be included in Google Search and be accessible using the search bar to enter queries.
To provide current answers to text inputs, the chatbot uses data from the Internet. On his Twitter account, Sunder Pichai made the following comments about using the Google Bard AI chatbot API, although the actual release date is still unknown.
Since it is designed to provide direct answers to difficult problems, it can help with tasks such as planning baby showers, reviewing movies, and brainstorming lunch ideas. It is not yet known if the chatbot will be accessible through other Google services like Google Assistant or Google Maps.
ChatGPT vs. Google Bard AI
The key difference between Google Bard AI and ChatGPT is Bard’s ability to take current events into account when formulating its responses. Google’s Bard AI is not yet publicly available. However, here’s what you might find different from ChatGPT as a result of recent updates:
- Questions get real-time answers on Apprentice Bard AI.
- When using Google Bard AI, you only need to make a slight change to Google’s settings to get standard search results. ChatGPT, on the other hand, will only return text answers.
- On Lambda, Google Apprentice Bard is based on Lamda while ChatGPT is based on GPT.
- The AI text classifier in ChatGPT is a unique plagiarism detector. This feature is not yet available on Apprentice Bard AI.
- For now, Google Apprentice Bard AI is totally
- free. However, OpenAI has just introduced its users to a paid subscription service,ChatGPT Plus.
