Fujifilm has unveiled the new FinePix XP200 camera, particularly recommended for outdoor adventurers who need a durable and waterproof device.
At the heart of this rugged camera is a 16-megapixel CMOS sensor, assisted by CMOS Shift Image Stabilization.
Regarding the lens, it features a FUJINON 28-140mm lens, utilizing 5x optical zoom and 10x Intelligent Digital Zoom. In addition to taking photos – including continuous shooting – the Fujifilm FinePix XP200 can record Full HD movies at 1080i resolution (60fps).
It includes a Wi-Fi module for easily transferring captured media to PCs, tablets, smartphones, or TVs.
In terms of aesthetics combined with functionality, the camera is waterproof up to 15 meters deep and is highly resistant to shocks, dust, and scratches. It also withstands harsh temperatures (down to -10 degrees Celsius) and remains functional even after drops from up to 2 meters.<

The available colors are vibrant and eye-catching: choose from red, yellow, blue, and black.
As for the price of the Fujifilm FinePix XP200, it will be around $300 in the US market. The exact figure will be known soon, as its release is expected in May.
