Available for download, here is Firefox 4 for Android and Maemo: the novelty in the smartphone browser sector will satisfy fans of Mozilla Firefox 4, recently released.
If a few days ago the Mozilla Foundation made Firefox 4 available for download, today the news also concerns smartphones: Firefox 4 for mobile has indeed been launched, available for both Android and Maemo.
Firefox 4 for Android and for Maemo has been released in ten languages and allows for the web experience on the go with all the features of the desktop version. Perfectly in line with what happens with Firefox 4, even in this version for Android and Maemo the browser allows the use of Mozilla Sync: meaning it allows saving and sharing passwords, history, bookmarks, and open tabs across other related devices.
Faster and leaner, the interface also makes room for content, leaving aside unnecessary frills: the tabs to activate the various functions are reduced to a minimum, as it is a version to be used on devices with notably smaller screens. This clearly favors the page display itself.
There is also support for HTML5 and all the latest technologies, for a complete and seamless user experience.
