Facebook, “Dislike” or something similar is coming: social media breakthrough

The “Dislike” button – or something similar – will soon arrive on Facebook’s social platform.

Once again, new information is reported regarding the possibility of introducing new features on Facebook.
As has already happened in the past, news is circulating these hours that soon, on the largest social platform in the world, the “Dislike” button will arrive.
Periodically, in fact, the rumor about the imminent appearance of the new button goes around the world, but until today these rumors have always been denied by the Facebook staff.
This time, however, Mark Zuckerberg himself is speaking, who, during a live Q&A session with connected users, thus announced that the “Dislike” button will arrive within the next few weeks.
The head of Facebook explained that the requests of thousands of subscribers have finally been heard, but not before having long reflected on the opportunity to introduce this novelty on the portal.
Zuckerberg, in fact, stressed that the difficulty in equipping Facebook with this new tool arises from the fact that the staff at work does not want to turn Facebook into a place where one has to “vote” for or against people’s status updates and publications. They do not want to run the risk of turning the social network into a sort of public arena.

Therefore, it is not certain that the button will be called exactly “Dislike,” but what is certain – as confirmed by Mark Zuckerberg’s own words – is that the launch of new options to express other sentiments will happen very soon.
An instrument is therefore expected that can translate empathy, closeness, and participation in sad or otherwise unhappy thoughts and events with a single, quick click.
The novelty is certainly noteworthy, as it truly represents a turning point on the social network: it is a sign that the staff at work has found a solution, rather than postponing the issue as happened in previous months.
