Canon EOS M2 Presented: Price and Features

Canon has just launched a brand new camera, belonging to the mirrorless segment.
It is called Canon EOS M2 and at the moment it will certainly only be available in Japan: nothing is officially known yet about its arrival on the European market and therefore also in Italy.
The new Canon EOS M2 is equipped with an 18-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, combined with the DIGIC 5 image processor.
The ISO sensitivity goes up to 12,800 (expandable to 25,600 ISO), but a clear improvement compared to the previous model is undoubtedly the autofocus, now faster and more precise with its 39 points.
The flash is automatic and is an E-TTL flash; it also includes an automatic color correction system and noise reduction.
Another advantage of this new Canon mirrorless camera is the presence of the Wi-Fi connectivity module, to make sharing acquired material quick and intuitive.

As mentioned at the beginning, during the presentation of the Canon EOS M2, no mention was made of the possibility that the camera would reach our market. However, it seems quite improbable that the release of a camera of this type would remain the prerogative of a single country worldwide. Hypothetically, therefore, in the coming months, its arrival could also be announced in Europe.
Regarding the price range of the Canon EOS M2, at the current YEN – dollar exchange rate, we are talking about approximately 800 euros for the body in a kit with a basic lens; the camera alone is offered at about 620 dollars.
