Right after summer, a new addition from Canon will arrive in stores: the Canon EOS M will be available for purchase in early October.
This is Canon’s first Compact System Camera, usable with two different lenses: the EF-M 22mm f/2 STM or the standard EF-M 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM.
It is also possible to use Canon EF lenses by simply acquiring the new EF-EOS M adapter.
The sensor in this camera is an 18-megapixel APS-C Hybrid CMOS, which captures images with sharpness and great speed, thanks to the DIGIC 5 processor. In fact, it can shoot up to 4.3 frames per second.
Regarding native sensitivity, it ranges from 100 to 12,800 ISO (expandable to 25,600).

Supporting the selection of functions and reviewing captured images is a high-resolution 7.7 cm (3-inch) Clear View II Touch screen LCD, a valuable ally.
Naturally, the camera can also shoot videos, producing Full HD videos with stereo sound.
It’s interesting to note that the new Canon EOS M features a built-in wireless flash transmitter, and the Speedlite 90EX flash will be included in the sales package.
The suggested price for the Canon EOS M from Canon itself is 915 euros including VAT, for packages configured as follows:

• EOS M camera body;
• EF-M 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens;
• Speedlite 90EX flash.

Available colors will be: satin black, silver, white, and glossy red.
