Canon EOS 6D is the next new release from Canon in the full-frame DSLR category. Before diving into the purely photographic technical features, it’s worth noting that the Canon EOS 6D incorporates, for the first time in an EOS camera, GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity for geotagging images and making them immediately available on PCs, smartphones, or in the cloud.
The sensor is a newly conceived 20.2-megapixel full-frame CMOS with a native ISO range of 100-25,600 (expandable to 50-102,400).
Excellent performance is also achieved for nighttime shots, thanks in part to autofocus reliability down to -3 EV.
Image processing is handled by the DIGIC 5+ processor. For reviewing images after shooting or selecting functions, scenes, and effects, users can utilize the 7.7 cm (3-inch) Clear View LCD screen with a high resolution of 1,040,000 dots.
Regarding lenses, it’s possible to leverage EF wide-angle lenses, with a focal length range starting from 8 millimeters.

The dimensions of this DSLR are very interesting: powerful and high-performing, it weighs in at 770 grams, with dimensions of 144.5 x 110.5 x 71.2 millimeters. The body is partially made of magnesium and is designed to be resistant to condensation and dust.
Finally, concerning batteries, its duration can be extended with the new BG-E13 battery grip, or it can even accommodate AA batteries in extreme necessity, usable for further shots.
The price of the Canon EOS 6D is not yet known.
