Asus Vivo Book S200, S400 and S500: prices

The launch of the new Microsoft Windows 8 operating system brings with it a series of innovations related to the vast connected hardware universe: new models of PCs, notebooks, and netbooks are indeed about to be released.
Asus is certainly not caught unprepared, presenting three new notebooks created specifically with the Windows 8 operating system.
The new Vivo Book S200, S400, and S500 are indeed being released. The first two will appear in electronics stores in the coming weeks, while for the Asus Vivo book S500, we will have to wait a bit longer: its release is scheduled for the coming months, and for this reason, needing more time, the company has not yet announced the price of this last device.
As for the Vivo Book S200, it is an 11.6-inch notebook with a multitouch display and a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
Its weight is 1.4 kg and its thickness reaches a maximum of 21 millimeters. The price of this notebook starts at 499 euros: it varies based on the chosen configuration, as it will be sold with three different types of processors (ULV Celeron 847, Intel Core i3, or ULV Pentium 987) and with different memory availability, up to a maximum of 4 GB of RAM and 500 GB of hard disk.

The second notebook, Asus Vivo Book S400, features a 14-inch screen but the other characteristics related to 1366×768 pixel resolution and the possibility of using multi-touch technology remain confirmed.
The operating system will be optional: available in both Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro versions.
The processors housed are the same as the S200 model, but in this case, a fourth option is added: you can also choose the model with a Core i5.
Heavier than the first model at 1.800 kg, it leaves the overall thickness unchanged at 21 millimeters.
Internal memory can be chosen from multiple options: up to 500 GB of hard disk or the possibility of having hybrid storage, with internal storage combined with a 24 GB SSD. Regarding RAM, up to 8 GB is available, depending on the desired configuration.
The price of the Asus Vivo Book S400, which varies based on these choice options, starts at 699 euros.
