Cupertino’s laboratories are reportedly working on the development of a special watch project: Apple’s iWatch.
More news is coming from anonymous sources close to Apple: according to what was reported in the New York Times, a iWatch is reportedly being developed in Cupertino’s laboratories.
The smartwatch would thus be arriving at Apple after its debut on the Android side: recall, for example, the Sony SmartWatch, released last spring.
Not an absolute novelty, therefore, but still a new device that could become part of the Apple catalog, which, for its part, is not leaking any clues: neither denials nor confirmations, only the usual discretion during periods of work and experimentation in the Cupertino labs.
Regarding the characteristics of the iWatch, it is expected that the watch may be built with curved glass to make it more comfortable against the wrist.
It should not be difficult to develop such a structure, especially since the existence of Google Project Glass, augmented reality glasses that – in effect – have enveloping shapes, is already known.
It is not known if Siri, Apple’s voice assistant, will be an integral part of the iWatch’s functionalities but, since this special watch is based on iOS, the answer could be positive.
Further details are expected soon.
