Amazon will grant loans to small Italian businesses

Amazon is about to open its loan concession program for businesses in Italy as well.

A loan application and approval system founded by Amazon is also arriving in Italy.
The e-commerce giant has announced that this new program will be activated in our country starting from the end of the current year.
This is a loan concession method specifically dedicated to small businesses that base a part of their operations on sales on the Amazon platform.
To date, the service has been used by professional users in Japan and the United States of America, but in the coming months, the project will be extended to small companies in Italy, France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, India, China, and Canada.
Being a seller on Amazon is not the only requirement to obtain a loan: you cannot automatically decide to request financing, as you will be contacted by Amazon staff.
Only certain sellers will be informed of Amazon’s availability to finance their business through loans.
This is based on a series of parameters preliminarily and carefully analyzed by a specific algorithm developed by Amazon experts, in order to select a group of businesses deemed “safe” and solid, and therefore capable of repaying the loan as agreed.
Another condition to consider is that these are short-term loans, meaning immediate liquidity to be channeled to increase competitiveness.

In general, loan systems from major e-commerce platforms are certainly not new: portals such as Alibaba or eBay also have similar programs.
Amazon is therefore joining others, but the fact that there is talk of an opening to Italian sellers is certainly noteworthy and potentially useful for those already accredited on the Amazon Marketplace.
