The American media are reporting an interesting rumor: Amazon is reportedly about to produce a smartphone with a 3D screen.
Increasingly involved in the sector of devices and mobility, and therefore not only in e-commerce, the company Amazon is reportedly on the verge of making another sensational acquisition.
According to an article published in the Wall Street Journal, in fact, two projects concerning the release of a smartphone.
Nothing strange, all things considered, in wanting to think about an “Amazonphone”: we even talked about it in July 2012; however, the discussion becomes decidedly interesting when it is anticipated that the new Amazon smartphonewill be equipped with a 3D screen.
There is talk of two different prototypes, one of which with a display technology that allows the viewing of 3D content.
In particular, it will not be necessary to wear special glasses to view content in three-dimensional effect, therefore the use of the device will apparently involve nothing different from “traditional” models, so to speak.
It would also include the retina recognition system and therefore the eye movements of the smartphone user, in order to follow the gaze and offer images more “oriented” to the user, including 3D projections.
The hypothesis of the release of this smartphone is undoubtedly very fascinating, although it is not yet possible to be certain about the veracity of the information: Wall Street Journalis a reliable and usually well-informed source, it should be specified that no confirmation or partial admission of the existence of such a project has come from Amazon’s side.
