BitTorrent officially presents Bundle, an application that allows downloading music and various materials completely legally.

File sharing with a “pirate” connotation may have its days numbered: it is learned that BitTorrent, a widely used program for (not always legal) file exchange, is entering a new phase.
From the official BitTorrent blog, it appears that the Bundle application has been launched, an extension that allows access to a series of multimedia content of various kinds.
From music files to photos, to ebooks and movies, with Bundle users can select the package of their interest and start the download, provided they have an access key.
Not only that: when purchasing, for example, a song through this system, the user will also receive other “bonus” content, chosen by the rights holder of the selected work.
Bundle therefore seems to be a favorable tool for artists who can use the platform to promote works and ideas by introducing them into this system.
And it’s not a given that there will always be a regular payment from the user: the artist could, in fact, decide to make a song downloadable for free, provided that a certain page is visited first; leave their email; send a tweet first; “Like” the relevant Facebook page, and so on.
A sort of barter, therefore, in some cases, or outright payment for a single track or an album in other circumstances.
Bundle will not strictly be an intermediary, but rather a particular showcase, a stage, a virtual museum for exhibition.
The model is simple and it remains to be seen what the practical application will be, both from the artists’ side and regarding the users’ reaction.
