Amazon has launched an initiative that may be of interest to those about to start the new 2013-2014 school year in September, and therefore especially to families with students at home.
In fact, the “15 and Praise” project has begun, allowing you to purchase textbooks with a 15% discount on the cover price of new products.
Amazon’s catalog includes all textbooks adopted by primary and secondary schools in Italy, so you can easily find all the volumes you need.
What’s more, Amazon’s database for this specific section of its e-commerce site is very interesting and complete.
In fact, from the portal, you can already find the list of texts adopted by the relevant school, starting from the page Amazon dedicates to school books.
The system is indeed set up by region; then you will choose the province, at this point the city or town, and then the menu will present the list of schools.
From here, you can navigate to the grade level and finally to the complete list of textbooks to purchase.
At this point, all you have to do is order the various volumes and wait to receive the goods comfortably at home or at work, without even paying for shipping costs on orders over 19 euros.
For those interested, it is advisable to get the official book list from the school’s administrative office to be sure of the titles and editions recommended by the teachers.
Amazon’s database is indeed based on the database of the website “adozionilibriscolastici.it” which, although licensed by the Italian Publishers Association, it is preferable to double-check it for greater security before proceeding with the purchase.
