Aruba down, thousands of sites offline again

A couple of hours of blackout for a large part of the Italian web: Aruba is down and thousands of sites are crashing. Around midday, millions and millions of pages became inaccessible, exactly as happened to FullPress, FullTravel, and FullSong, the websites of the FullPress Agency network.
After initial basic routine internal checks (“is it the connection?”, “is it the network?”, “let’s try to ping”), it was realized that the problem was external.
It was enough to open Twitter to notice in a matter of seconds numerous tweets reporting the problem. The answer to the disappearance of thousands of sites was clear to everyone: “Aruba is down“.
A story that repeats itself: already last April 29, a much longer blackout brought the Italian web to its knees.
Exactly as just over two months ago, even today there was no official communication from Aruba: phone line unreachable (this can be understandable: the numerous calls will surely have congested the lines) but above all, there was no explanation via social networks, a tool the company decided to use but apparently not in these cases.
On Twitter in particular, Aruba’s account continued to show the latest commercial offers launched via tweet but no trace of any explanation or official apologies.
The crash of Aruba generated all sorts of tweets: from clearly angry ones to sarcastic ones, up to blatantly advertising ones from companies competing with Aruba.
Regarding what happened at Aruba to generate a new network blackout, it is still a mystery.
What has angered Aruba customers, besides the obvious reason related to the downtime, is clear: the lack of timely communication, at least to apologize for the inconvenience and briefly inform about the reasons for the problem.
How will Aruba compensate users this time?
At the moment the situation seems to have normalized, however, some complaints can still be read on Twitter, from those who continue to report sites offline.
