Over sixteen thousand labels in a few touches. The Luigi Veronelli Permanent Seminar presents I Vini di Veronelli 2017, the smartphone and tablet application dedicated to Italy’s wine productions.

Tastings, data, scores: the application – available for Apple and Android devices for €5.99 – makes all the information and judgments from the Guida Oro I Vini di Veronelli available with the speed and immediacy of the digital formatall the information and judgments from the Guida Oro I Vini di Veronelli, the leading guide to Italian wines, curated by Gigi Brozzoni and Daniel Thomases.

These are the numbers for the excellence awarded in the 2017 edition:

• 346 Super Tre Stelle, wines that, already at the top in previous years, have obtained a rating equal to or greater than 94/100;
• 28 Grandi Esordi, wines reviewed for the first time or returning to the guide after a long absence with a score equal to or greater than 94/100;
• 10 Sole, the “special awards” of the Guida Veronelli, assigned by the Editorial Staff to ten extraordinary wines, testaments to the intelligence, creativity, and dedication that Italian winemakers put into their work;
• 5 Migliori Assaggi, the five wines that – one per type – obtained the highest score out of one hundred among all the samples reviewed in the 2017 edition.

Prestigious productions that, for the sixth consecutive year, lovers of advanced search function, an increasingly rich and updated database, accurate, in-depth, and intuitive symbology.

In particular, for each of the 2,049 companies reviewed throughout the national territory the following are indicated: address, telephone number, fax, website, email, brief company description, production method used (conventional, organic, or biodynamic), presence of facilities for hospitality and direct sales of wines and other company products. The 16,252 wines selected in the 2017 edition – the largest in the last five years – are classified by denomination, vintage, number of bottles produced, aging method, price range, and, of course, according to the score out of one hundred assigned by the tasters.

It is also possible to consult the section I Luoghi del Buon Bere, restaurants, and venues selected for their extensive wine list and for the particular care taken in service and pairing Italian oenological excellences.

Immediate answers to every wine-related curiosity can be found through the following functions:
