Webcreativity, Creativity, and Post-Web Visual Marketing

Webcreativity is a book published by Dario Flaccovio, written by Paolo Schianchi, dedicated to creativity for Internet use. Pocket-sized, 18 Euros, 192 pages.

That creativity is the domain of a few is also evidenced by the scarce editorial production of books dedicated to the subject. Creativity geared towards the Web and Visual Creativity, in particular, are increasingly rare editorial “beasts.” This is certainly due to marketplaces that resell ready-to-use, low-cost template packages, but also to the lack of attention towards a topic that deserves much greater focus.

Dario Flaccovio Editore, however, contrary to the “market rules” and with an eye increasingly averted from the commercial aspect, has included an interesting and original book in its “Technical Catalog,” thanks to the idea of its author: Paolo Schianchi.

The pocket-sized book is aimed at creatives and web designers who want to distinguish their work without resorting to “copy-paste” methods. It addresses various aspects and emphasizes how creativity and visual marketing share common ground.

The manual is divided into four chapters, preceded by an Introduction and a Foreword by Mariagrazia Villa. Here is the chapter sequence:
1. The Empty Room;
2. Post-Web Creativity;
3. Post-Web Visual Marketing;
4. Marginal Notes: Kitsch and the Web.

The book comprises 192 pages and has been available since January 2016, sold at the price of 18 Euros in the best bookstores, including online ones, including Amazon.
