Vodafone Smart Tab 10 is the new Android tablet launched by Vodafone in combination with a special offer including data traffic or at a set price.
Vodafone has just announced the arrival – in Vodafone One stores and on the vodafone.it website – of its new tablet: it’s called Vodafone Smart Tab 10 and will be available starting Monday, February 27, 2012.
Before detailing the sales offer in combination with a data package and its price, we can note that it is a tablet equipped with the Android Honeycomb 3.2 operating system with a 1.2 GHz Dual-Core processor and 1024 MB of RAM.
The screen is 10.1 inches, on which you can run customizable home screens as well as all the apps available for download on the Android Market.
Two integrated cameras: the main one is 5 megapixels while the front one is 2 megapixels.
Captured images and downloaded apps can be saved in the available 16 GB internal memory, which, if desired, can be expanded via SD card up to a maximum of 32 GB.
Regarding the purely economic aspect, the price of the Vodafone Smart Tab 10 is 399 euros.
However, if desired, you can take advantage of a special offer called “Tablet for you”: with an initial contribution of 49 euros and 19 euros per month, you can get the tablet, plus the Internet Super option. This will provide 3 GB of traffic at speeds up to 7.2 Mbps. After exceeding 3 GB, the speed will be reduced to 64 Kbps, with no time limit.
Furthermore, given the launch of the new tablet, customers will receive a free one-year subscription to one of the following newspapers: Corriere della Sera, La Gazzetta dello Sport Digital Edition, or La Repubblica. Additionally, you will also be entitled to watch the 2011/2012 Football Championship in live HD video.
