Instagram Videos: Here’s How They Work

In the past few days, there has been much speculation about the content of the event organized by Facebook for Thursday, June 20th. Therefore, denials and confirmations arrive regarding what Mark Zuckerberg actually presented.
More than the Facebook platform in the strict sense, the focus was on Instagram, the popular photo application acquired by Facebook.
The novelty is that from today it is possible to shoot and then post videos on Instagram.
The evolution of the system was actually expected for some time, given that the trend seems to be already well-established: the debut of videos on Twitter made with the Vine app was also very successful, so it is clear that users can appreciate the same novelty on Instagram as well.
How do videos on Instagram work then?
The application has not undergone major graphic overhauls: the intention not to radically change users’ habits is clear.
What is evident is the new icon used to activate the video recording mechanism, placed next to the little symbol with which photos are taken.
To create a video, you will therefore have to press the corresponding symbol, taking care to keep it pressed: if your finger is not pressing, the recording will stop.

In this way, however, short clips can be created to form a single video, whose duration in any case cannot exceed 15 seconds in total.
Nothing particularly different from what Vine does, except for one detail: Facebook has indeed implemented the “Cinema” function, useful for increasing the quality of the captured images.
Once the video has been acquired, you can edit it using the already known Instagram filters, to give particular nuances to your “social-opera”.
Once this phase is completed, you will then proceed to the process of sharing on Facebook.
The process is globally very simple and intuitive: an enrichment of Instagram’s functions which in this way has not been distorted at all, only improved.
