Vatican Wars is the new game on Facebook that is drawing in members: at stake is the election of a Pope, after debating highly relevant current issues.
Among the various games on Facebook, a new one has arrived and is already destined to make waves: it’s called Vatican Wars and its main goal is to elect a Pope on Facebook.
Those who wish to participate in the game will be assigned to one of two teams: on one side are the Crusaders, on the other the Templars. The preference for inclusion in one faction or the other should be carefully considered from the start of the game: will you align yourself as liberals (thus Crusaders) or conservatives (Templars)? The choice is important because, to play Vatican Wars and thus elect the Pope on Facebook, you will first have to debate hot-button issues: abortion, divorce, contraception, priestly celibacy, etc…
Any player can aspire to the virtual pontifical throne, but how does one get elected?
It will be necessary to engage in a series of activities to be carried out with the liturgical calendar, Gospels, and Bible at hand.
Based on one’s opinions and the activities carried out, points will be earned until the moment of the white smoke and thus the election of the Pope on Facebook.
Before shouting blasphemy, the creators of Vatican Wars let it be known that the game was pre-evaluated by practicing Catholics who, apparently, approved the project.
The first Pope of Vatican Wars has not yet been elected, so it is not yet possible to understand if conservatives or liberals are prevailing.
