It’s called the Tolino Tab 8” and it’s IBS’s new device dedicated to entertainment: here are its price and features.
The new tablet, sold exclusively by IBS, has just been launched in our country. You can purchase it directly on the IBS.it website or offline in IBS.it bookstores.
The Tolino Tab 8” runs on the Android 4.4 (KitKat) operating system and features an Intel Atom processor with a 1.83 GHz clock speed. It has 2 GB of RAM, and the native internal storage is 16 GB, expandable up to a maximum of 64 GB using a microSD card.
As its name suggests, this new tablet sports an 8-inch screen. It’s a capacitive full HD multitouch display with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels and 320 dpi.
The device measures 8 millimeters thick, 125 millimeters wide, and 215 millimeters high. The total weight is 306 grams.
Being an Android device, you can download apps from the Play Store. Upon first boot, the Tolino app will be pre-installed, allowing you to search and purchase directly from IBS.
Furthermore, once your IBS account is set up, you’ll have access to an additional 5 GB of cloud storage to archive downloaded content, personal documents, ebooks, bookmarks, notes, etc…
Connectivity is provided by the following modules: High-Speed-WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Direct, and Bluetooth 4.0.
Regarding audio and video capabilities, it includes a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, built-in speakers, a MicroUSB port for connection to HDMI screens (adapter not included), and an audio output.
The battery, a 4100 mAh lithium component, promises an operating life of approximately 12 hours.
As for the price of the Tolino Tab 8”, it is currently 199 euros, down from 219 euros.
