The new Sony Xperia Z2 smartphone is about to arrive in Italy: here is its price and release date.
Time for announcements from Sony too, naturally – as is happening these days – coming from the stands of the Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona.
The release of the new Sony Xperia Z2 smartphone has been officialized, a top-of-the-range model that will arrive in all mobile phone stores and major retail chains at the end of March.
Sony Xperia Z2 will be equipped with the Android 4.4 Kit Kat operating system and a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor.
The supporting RAM will be 3 GB, exactly as expected for the Samsung Galaxy S5 which – instead – “stopped” at 2 GB of RAM.
The native internal memory available is 16 GB but it is expandable via microSD.
The main camera is decidedly impressive, astonishing everyone with its 20.8 megapixels and G lens sensor.
As for the display, it is a new 5.2-inch Triluminos Full HD, and the chosen graphics card is an Adreno 330.
The battery, at least on paper, appears to have good hold and autonomy, thanks to its 3200 mAh.
From a purely aesthetic point of view, Sony has announced that the smartphone will be distributed in black, white, and purple.
Finally, regarding the price of the Sony Xperia Z2, it will be 699 euros: we are decidedly in the high range of features and therefore also in the high price bracket.
