Taking inspiration from its bigger sibling (Xperia 1 II), Xperia 5 II includes Sony’s Alpha camera technologies to ensure extremely precise results. The best close-ups aren’t always with a posed subject, and the Real-time Eye AF system ensures maximum sharpness, even in spontaneous shots. Whether it’s animals or people in motion, Real-time Eye AF highlights the most expressive part of the face, even if an eye is covered or with very dynamic subjects.

Xperia 5 II captures those unmissable moments, thanks to continuous autofocus, capable of calculating AF/AE 60 times per second, to shoot and save 20 images (20 fps) with high precision, accurate focus, and optimized exposure.

The versatile camera includes three lenses with different focal lengths: 16mm/24mm/70mm, for optimal performance in landscapes as well as portraits and for zooming in on distant subjects. ZEISS optics are specifically calibrated for Xperia 5 II and feature the renowned ZEISS T* coating for reduced reflections, enhancing contrast and image rendering. To achieve quality images even in low light, the system utilizes the large 1/1.7” sensor and the Bionz X processor for mobile with noise reduction.
