**Samsung Galaxy S4** has been officially unveiled by **Samsung**, with all its groundbreaking new features. However, the design doesn’t see any notable changes, but the functions are remarkable.
It had been widely discussed and indeed, as widely predicted, in the press conference held a few hours ago Samsung presented the brand new Samsung Galaxy S4.
The device confirms a series of rumors regarding its new features: as a first confirmation, it confirms the functionality of controlling the smartphone through your eyes.
The Smart Scroll technique has indeed been officially announced, which allows you to scroll the navigation browser and the email page without needing to touch the screen.
Even when watching videos, the device follows your gaze; if you look away from the screen, it will activate the “Smart Pause” function, stopping the video playback.
Also noteworthy is the 13-megapixel camera with Dual Camera system, and the screen has slightly “grown,” from the 4.8 inches of the Galaxy S3 to the current 5 inches of the Galaxy S4. It’s a Full HD Super Amoled with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
The processor is a 1.9 GHz Quad-Core, but there is a second version with a 1.6 GHz Octa-Core processor: one or the other will be distributed depending on different markets, about which, however, there is still no detailed information.
The operating system is Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the RAM is 2 GB, while the internal memory options offered are 16, 32, or 64 GB, always expandable as desired using a microSD card.
Many new features for daily use: you can use this device for simultaneous translations or as an optical business card reader.
Furthermore, a special function – Air Gesture – allows you to answer calls with just a gesture.
Even with “S Health,” this smartphone will monitor the user’s physical fitness.
From a design perspective, however, no significant changes have been noticed, except in the proposed colors: it returns to the traditional white or black, thus avoiding the commercialization of the blue version, as had happened with the Samsung S3.
The arrival in Italy is scheduled for the month of May, and regarding the price of the Samsung Galaxy S4, it is spoken of – still unofficially, it is important to emphasize – of 699 euros for the 16 GB base version.
