Here are the official details about the release of Galaxy Note II in Italy: price and features revealed at a Samsung event.
Samsung yesterday met with the Italian industry press during an event held in Milan for the presentation of the new Samsung Galaxy Note II, already introduced during the IFA in Berlin.
It is a “phablet“: this is what devices are called that are halfway between a smartphone and a tablet.
The pioneer is the Samsung Note and now its successor, the Galaxy Note II.

Much has been done from an aesthetic point of view: the new phablet is thinner than the previous model, measuring 80.5 x 151.1 x 9.4 millimeters and weighing 180 grams.
The screen has a diagonal of 5.55 inches with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, so the front part is practically almost entirely covered by the screen itself.
The heart of this device is an Exynos 4412 quad-core processor at 1.6GHz paired with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, pre-installed natively.
As for the RAM, it has 2 GB while the internal memory can be chosen from three sizes offered: 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB. In any case, a microSD card can also be used to further expand the memory.
Two colors are currently available: Titanium Grey and Marble White.
The release in Italy is expected in the middle of the current month of October and, regarding the price of the Samsung Galaxy Note II, the list price will be 699 euros as the base price for the 16 GB version.
