Samsung Galaxy S 3 Mini Incoming: Rumors

Samsung is summoning a group of people for the official presentation of a new smartphone, and thus, rumors about the release of the Samsung Galaxy S 3 Mini are multiplying.

There is much anticipation surrounding the event organized by Samsung to present a new smartphone. The appointment with journalists invited to Germany is set for October 11, and it’s already rumored that the occasion will be marked by the release of the Samsung Galaxy S 3 Mini.
These are just rumors, circulating for some time now and even more substantial today, given that the invitation to the presentation reads a cryptic phrase suggesting a focus on a flagship smartphone, launching it in a mini version: “the size may be small. and so small it can be big”.
What could the differences be then?
Naturally, the screen would change, and there are indeed rumors of a 4-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels for the probable Samsung Galaxy S 3 Mini, instead of 4.8 inches as for the top-of-the-range Samsung Galaxy S 3 device.
Another difference might lie in the camera: a 5-megapixel sensor would be opted for instead of the current 8-megapixel one.
The processor could also become dual-core instead of quad-core, while the native operating system should remain Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

All of this, according to industry analysts, could mean introducing a device to the market at a price of around 250 euros, making it accessible to a much wider target audience.
If this release were confirmed, it would likely open up a new trend that has been discussed for several months: offering mini versions of best-selling devices.
One cannot help but think, for example, of the anticipations that the new iPad Mini is also about to be released?
We therefore await October 11 to learn more regarding Samsung.
