Samsung Galaxy Beam has a specific and obvious peculiarity: it is equipped with an integrated microprojector for indoor and outdoor use.
Samsung Galaxy Beam is certainly one of the smartphones most recently presented to have sparked a lot of curiosity among potential users.
Beyond the specific technical features, in fact, it is equipped with an accessory integrated into the case that makes it very special: the presence of a microprojector with 15 lumens is easily identifiable.
It will therefore be possible to select photos or videos and then start the microprojector which will make the content visible on different types of surfaces: from walls to the floor, up to the palm of your hand or outdoors.
The images – offered with a resolution of 640×360 pixels – will have a maximum diagonal size of 50 inches.
The microprojector is located on the upper part of the smartphone’s case, positioned in line with the center of the screen.
As for the other technical features of Samsung Galaxy Beam, we can first note the presence of a main camera of 5 megapixels and a secondary one – for video calls – of 1.3 megapixels.
Regarding the processor, it features a dual-core 1 GHz that communicates with the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, with 1 GB of RAM and 8 gigabytes of internal memory.
The screen is 4 inches with a resolution of 480×800 pixels and finally the battery is enhanced (2000 mAh) precisely to support the extra energy load required by the operation of the microprojector.
The price of Samsung Galaxy Beam is not yet known nor is it known when or if it will arrive in Europe. According to the latest news, however, its commercialization is imminent: from the month of April the smartphone will be available in India.
