The 2012 high school exam topics will be available online: no leaks or tricks, this is an official decision by the Ministry of Education that retires the paper packets.
The decision has been made and it’s official: this year the maturity exam topics 2012 will be online, meaning they will not be sent to individual schools via paper package but electronically.
School principals have been reached by a circular from the Ministry of Education that formalizes the launch of the project called “electronic package.”
Each school institution will therefore receive the maturity exam topics 2012 a few minutes before the official start of the first exam; the files will be kept secret until that moment by the Ministry itself and will then be transferred in encrypted form to the individual schools.
At that point, it will be necessary to decode the topics and reproduce them on paper in a sufficient number of copies for all students taking the written exams.
According to this circular, which also sets the rules of the procedure to be followed throughout Italy, an employee specially appointed by the principal will be responsible for this, and must have a PC and a printer available.
Certainly, there will be significant savings in terms of paper but not only that: up to today, the procedure for distributing the envelopes with the exam topics required the principal to go to the relevant education office to pick up an envelope made of special material, designed to resist forced opening and impossible to read even using X-rays.
At that point, the package had to be kept at a police station or in a safe at the school, sometimes adequately guarded by officers.
The online distribution of the maturity exam topics 2012 will therefore certainly generate savings in general resources in terms of personnel involved in the various operations, in terms of time, and not least also in money and paper.
A smart and probably necessary move, given the rise of online communications, but it will certainly also have to be done in total security, resistant to possible hacker attacks.
