Less than 24 hours ago, the sale of domains with a new extension was launched.
It is indeed already possible to register .Cloud domains, using the service provided by the company Aruba.
In reality, the application procedure for acquisition was initiated several weeks ago, but only as an initial phase, intended for specific companies and subject to pre-registration.
Today’s news, however, informs us that as of yesterday afternoon, anyone can purchase a .cloud domain, meaning this can now be done by individuals as well, not just companies.
Naturally, there is also free rein for trademarks, associations, professionals, and various entities.
Aruba, in addition to opening this new “world” of domains for everyone to put online, has also decided to launch a special promotion, valid until February 29, 2016.
.cloud domains can be registered at the promotional price of 6.99 euros per year, including 24/7 support service; redirect; or DNS management.
Clearly, the “first come – first served” rule dictates, meaning that any interested party can register as many .cloud domains as they wish from today, without any restrictions on the number and without limitations related to the chosen name.
