PosteMobile: Activates 4G LTE Network, But Not For Everyone

PosteMobile presents the unprecedented possibility of browsing in 4G: however, the advantage does not apply to everyone.

For some days, the rumor has been circulating that PosteMobile was also ready to launch high-speed network browsing services.
In fact, for some hours now, customers using PosteMobile telephony services have been able to connect to the fast 4G – LTE networks.
This novelty undoubtedly adds dynamism to Poste’s telephony sector and fills a gap that – compared to all other traditional operators – was marking a certain undeniable delay.
Among virtual operators, however, in some respects PosteMobile is – so to speak – leading the way.
Certainly, this is excellent news for PosteMobile customers; however, it is important to emphasize that not all those who have signed a PosteMobile contract will be able to take advantage of the new 4G speed browsing option.
It is understood, in fact, that the 4G LTE network will only be reachable and usable through the use of SIM cards with NFC technology.
These are therefore the most recent SIM cards distributed by PosteMobile, those – to put it more easily – that run on the Wind operator.
Older SIM cards (those activated in the past on Vodafone networks), however, will not be able to browse in 4G but will continue to be usable only in 3G.

Another point to note is that – for enabled SIM cards – 4G connectivity will be activated automatically and at no additional cost.
To accompany this new feature, the new “Creami Giga Turbo” packages have been launched, which can be viewed on the postemobile.it website.
