Philips announces the arrival of its new ultra-slim 234CL2SB LED monitor, the Philips Blade. Here are the price and main features of this new product from Philips.
Arriving in January 2011, the new Philips Blade monitor is an ultra-slim 234CL2SB LED monitor with a particularly refined design, making it elegant and aesthetically pleasing. It’s no coincidence that all peripherals can be connected to the LED TV stand, avoiding the visual annoyance of cables.
Extremely thin (only 12.9 millimeters), the Blade features solid-state LED backlighting, allowing for a viewing experience with higher contrast and good precision from any angle.
Other technical features:
– VGA and HDMI input and audio output for connecting headphones or subwoofers;
– 2 ms response time for precise and fast viewing of moving images. This allows for improved display of motion and faster gaming experiences.
– A SmartContrast of 20,000,000:1 that increases contrast for an excellent level of black shades and accurate rendering of shadows and colors. Furthermore, this provides clear and natural images with brilliant colors.
– 16:9 aspect ratio for an exceptional gaming and video viewing experience without bars at the top and without loss of quality.
The Philips Blade LED monitor will be available for purchase in all electronics stores starting January 2011 at the recommended retail price of 219 euros.
