The latest newcomer from Pentax features a compact, lightweight body with a contemporary design, yet incorporates elements reminiscent of its classic analog predecessors.
The Pentax KP is a prosumer digital SLR capable of delivering high performance in both everyday situations and during outdoor shooting in harsh conditions.
Another element of absolute importance is the advanced five-axis Shake Reduction stabilization system. Like many other Pentax cameras, the new KP boasts a robust body resistant to the most adverse weather conditions, with its internal seals ensuring excellent camera performance at temperatures down to -10°C.
The camera has been carefully designed to be an excellent travel companion. In addition to menu and control panel customization, an innovative system has been introduced allowing users to change the grip to ensure a secure and tailored hold based on the photographer’s operating modes or the lens in use.
