To watch rented movies via streaming on Facebook, there is now the new Miramax eXperience app, developed by the well-known film company.
Here’s a new way to spend credits with Facebook Credits: by watching streaming movies. The Miramax eXperience application has been released, a new feature to allow users to select and watch movies, renting them on Facebook.
After selecting the title of interest from those in the catalog, you can pay via Facebook credits and thus have the chosen movie available for 30 days.
However, from the moment you start watching the film, you must watch it within 48 hours, otherwise it will no longer be accessible, unless you pay again.
As for the prices, each movie costs 30 Facebook credits, the equivalent of 3 dollars.
For the moment, Italian Facebook users will have to wait a little longer for the Miramax eXperience app to arrive, having to settle for free viewing of clips from movies, each lasting about 4 minutes: the project has just launched in the United States, Turkey, and Great Britain, with a still very limited number of films in the catalog.
However, the intention to expand both the titles and the availability worldwide is more than evident.
Not only that: if today the chosen viewing method is rental, Zuckerberg’s projects already aim at the outright purchase of films.
The Miramax eXperience application can be downloaded via the official Facebook page of Miramax itself, where it is also possible to follow developments and communications regarding future new inclusions.
Watching rented movies via streaming on Facebook is possible on any device: from tablets to smartphones to PCs, not even Google TV is excluded.
