From Google’s official circles come clarifications and specifications regarding the decision to ban Flash.
From Mountain View, it is learned that starting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1, 2015, advertising banners running on Flash plug-ins will be automatically inhibited.
This means that, although present, this type of ad will not be displayed on Chrome.
In reality, the decision is broader and more comprehensive, as support for Flash will be completely inhibited on Google’s browser, not just for ads.
However, it is quite understandable to consider that the biggest impact of this decision will be seen precisely in relation to ads, a source of revenue for Google and at the same time a source of expenditure for investors.
Therefore, the advice is to proceed with the conversion of advertisements containing Flash plugins into banners based on HTML5 technology: this will indeed be the accepted standard that can continue to be used on Chrome.
The majority of Flash banners will actually be automatically converted to HTML5.
However, it is always advisable to perform a prior check through your user panel, so as to be sure that the material you intend to circulate online is adequate to the new prevailing standards.

Generally, if the banner shows blocking problems, a simple click will be enough to restart it correctly, with the automatic conversion proposed by Google.
This troubleshooting tool was developed by Big G’s technicians in collaboration with Adobe labs, so as to promise a smooth transition from one standard to another.
For further clarification, we recommend reading the AdWords Advertising Policy Guidelines, specifically the section on “Display Ads”.
