The Mobile World Congress has begun and Nokia was not caught unprepared: the first of the smartphones presented is called Nokia 808 PureView and highlights the photographic department.
The peculiarity of this new device is precisely the great quality of the optics and sensors of the camera integrated into the smartphone: we are talking about Carl Zeiss optics supported by a 41-megapixel high-resolution sensor. These are remarkable specifications even for a digital camera, let alone for a device whose primary function is communication, making calls, and staying connected.
In practice, it will be like having a true super-compact camera instead of a smartphone, especially since it can also record Full HD 1080p videos.
Also on the multimedia front, it is worth noting that it is possible to make high-quality recordings without external microphones, thanks to the Nokia Rich Recording feature and particular attention paid to a premium sound experience.
As for the other technical specifications, the Nokia 808 PureView runs on Symbian Belle, features a 1.3 GHz single-core processor, has 512 MB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, expandable with a micro SD or micro SDHC card.
Regarding the display, it is an OLED touchscreen with a resolution of 640×360 pixels.

No official information has been released regarding the release date in Italy and especially concerning the price of the Nokia 808 PureView, which, however, given its features, could not be less than 400 euros.
This is, of course, just a personal hypothesis; we will be sure to communicate the price officially announced by Nokia as soon as possible.
