Starting today and running until March 1st is the 2012 edition of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Many new features are awaiting confirmation, new manufacturers, and welcome returns to the mobile scene.
The 2012 edition of the Mobile World Congress opens today in Barcelona, an event that draws producers from the technology industry. The Catalan city will have the attention of journalists, professionals, markets, and mobile industry enthusiasts for four days (the last three of February and the first of March).
Not only smartphones and latest generation cell phones in Barcelona, but also tablets are increasingly dominant in the tech market. It is precisely during these four days that new releases are expected, some already seen during the CES in Las Vegas and that will also arrive in Europe, others kept among rumors and half-truths. In short, during the event there will be an opportunity to understand where the mobile industry is heading and especially what the innovative elements of the entire sector are.
Among the most dynamic smartphone producers in this early part of 2012 is certainly Nokia, which thanks to the Lumia series is achieving great commercial success. Rumors speak of two Nokia presentations during the Barcelona event. Coming soon: Nokia Lumia 910 e Nokia Lumia 610.At the CES in Las Vegas, we had already previewed the new Nokia Lumia 900.
LG, on the other hand, has already announced the products that will debut during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. These are LG OPTIMUS L3 (released in March), LG OPTIMUS L5 (released in the first half of 2012), LG OPTIMUS L7 (to be released in the second half), LG OPTMIUS VU.
From LG a Motorola the step is short. The US corporation, a leader with Nokia in the first-generation mobile phone market, has announced Motorola Motoluxe e Motorola Defy Mini which is arriving in Italy shortly.
New arrivals also from Samsung which, according to the latest news, should not present the Galaxy SIII although some commercial choices (discounts on the Samsung Galaxy SII) by large groups suggest an imminent release. During the Mobile World Congress, we will surely know more. However, the smartphones announced are Galaxy Ace 2, the Galaxy Mini 2 e Galaxy Blaze 4G while only release hypotheses are being made for the 10.1-inch Galaxy Note.
Panasonic has announced its return to the smartphone scene with its new and unique product, at least for the moment, with a peculiar name: Panasonic Eluda. HTC e Sony will do their part while NVIDIA, a manufacturer of graphics processors, has announced a new smartphone in collaboration with ZTE.
