Nintendo 3DS is not suitable for children under 6 years old: this is the warning issued by Nintendo itself.
Nintendo 3DS could pose a risk to the eyesight of children under 6 years of age: it is better to avoid its use, preferring 2D.
This, in summary, is the recommendation made by Nintendo itself.
The Japanese company has announced it has learned that all 3D images can harm the eyes of young children, therefore the problem is not solely related to the Nintendo 3DS gaming device, which, it should be noted, allows for a 3D gaming experience without the need for glasses.
Nintendo therefore advises that children should use traditional consoles without excessive use of 3D effects, limiting themselves to 2D.
In this regard, the Japanese company has informed that – during a promotional event scheduled for January in Tokyo – it will take care to only let young children use two-dimensional consoles.
