Nikon’s premium compact cameras, the DL series, are arriving on the digital camera market. Excellent for portability, easy to handle for excellent results.
Three compact cameras presented by Nikon: Nikon DL24-85 f/1.8-2.8; Nikon DL18-50 f/1.8-2.8; Nikon DL24-500 f/2.8-5.6. Each of these cameras comes with a zoom lens with performance similar to that of acclaimed DSLRs. The sensor is CX format, 24.5mm. Shots can be taken not only in JPEG format but also in RAW (NEF). 4K/UHD movies at 30p/25p.
Technical Characteristics:
The Nikon DL cameras integrate Nikon’s advanced hybrid AF system, which allows for very fast focusing analysis and execution. The new EXPEED 6A processor with four CPU cores, on the other hand, ensures quick startup and reaction times, as well as incredible shooting speeds: up to 60fps with focus locked on the first frame or up to 20fps with continuous AF. Nikon’s dual-detection VR optical stabilization system then detects and compensates for camera shake.
The ISO 518 hot-shoe on the Nikon DL cameras allows the use of various accessories, including Nikon’s famous flashes, such as the new SB-5000, and the dedicated tilting electronic viewfinder (EVF) DF-E1 with monitor-off sensor, which ensures a clear, high-contrast view.
The position of the control buttons, dials, and menus are reminiscent of Nikon DSLRs, and the lens barrel is distinguished by the famous golden NIKKOR ring.
