Two main standout features: the sensor is a 16-megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor, while the lens boasts a 14x NIKKOR optical zoom.
This combination makes the camera very capable even when used with a wide-angle lens, as well as for group photos: in the latter context, precision and clarity of detail will be particularly noteworthy.
Good performance also in low-light conditions or when creating panoramic shots.
All this is complemented by great ease of use, with the camera also featuring pre-set “scene modes” to choose from, ensuring optimal performance in various circumstances.
