The NIKKOR Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S is the first Z-series lens to adopt Nikon’s new Silky Swift Voice Coil Motor VCM focusing system with an optical ABS encoder: autofocus is even faster and quieter, with extremely accurate subject acquisition and tracking. It is also the first NIKKOR Z lens with Nikon’s new Meso Amorphous coating, for the highest anti-reflection performance in NIKKOR history. This new coating uses particles even smaller than nanoparticles to ensure high ghosting and stray light control, guaranteeing perfect sharpness even in video shooting, even when there are multiple light sources.
