Rumors are intensifying about the probable and upcoming release of the new smartphone developed by Google.
It shouldn’t be long now until the arrival on the world market of the future Nexus 6, which, according to a leaked document, will be codenamed “Shamu“.
The website “Android Police” has indeed published a screenshot of an internal support report on which it’s possible to notice some details of a new device called “Shamu”, whose dimensions would suggest a phablet: it is stated that the display will be 5.9 inches.
Another leaked detail is the presence of a fingerprint reader, now common on the latest high-end devices.
It is quite plausible to hypothesize that the operating system chosen for this new device will be Android L.
Nothing else is known, and therefore rumors reign supreme in cases like this, where details are scarce and one tries to decipher the timeline and some features from few clues.
Meanwhile, the name of the next Nexus 6 manufacturer is circulating: it seems that neither LG nor HTC have been chosen by Google.
This time, in fact, there is increasing insistence on Motorola, recently acquired by Lenovo but previously owned by Google itself.
Needless to say, the anticipation is high, given that Nexus devices have always been excellent offerings at very competitive prices.
Sales will probably begin by the end of this year, if all the rumors actually materialize.
The release could indeed happen as early as November, certainly an excellent time of year to successfully market any technological product.
The overlap with the start of Christmas shopping favors the spread of the novelty.
