Mozilla Firefox 4 beta 8 has been released, ready for download, fixing over 1400 bugs.
Another beta – the 8th – for Mozilla Firefox 4 which, after repeated delays, seems to be on the verge of releasing the final version. This new beta 8 has managed to fix something like 1400 pre-existing bugs: a significant step forward towards the stable version.
The browser’s speed has also been improved, and configuring Firefox Sync, another sore point of previous releases, has been made easier.
Rather than major novelties, the focus has been on addressing the evident critical issues encountered so far, and these have been worked on for the improvement of Firefox 4, with beta 8 specifically targeting bugs.
Mozilla Firefox 4 beta 8 is already available for download, for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
There are rumors that two more betas might be released before the release candidate, provisionally scheduled for the early months of 2011.
