Low price but improved features compared to the first series: here’s how the new LG Optimus L3 II smartphone presents itself.
LG has unveiled several new smartphones at the World Mobile Congress 2013 in Barcelona, also focusing on the redevelopment of previously released devices with updated and enhanced features.
This is the case with the new LG Optimus L3 II, the second iteration of its well-known predecessor. This time, LG, while maintaining a low price, has focused on more performant characteristics.
First to impress are the rather compact dimensions: the device measures only 102.6 x 61.1 x 11.9 millimeters, making it extremely manageable.
The native operating system chosen by LG to equip this terminal is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, while the processor is quite basic but functional: it’s a 1 GHz single-core Qualcomm MSM7225AB.
The available RAM is 512 MB, while the internal storage is 4 GB, expandable with the use – and optional purchase – of microSD cards.
There is only one camera, located on the rear of the body, and it’s 3 megapixels. It should be noted that there is no LED flash available.
Regarding the screen, given the compact dimensions, one cannot expect a very large display: it is indeed a 3.2-inch screen with a touchscreen and IPS technology, with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels.
The price of the LG Optimus L3 II will range between 130 and a maximum of 150 euros: certainly an accessible price for a useful device for mobile connectivity.
