LG Optimus Hub: Features and Price

LG Optimus Hub has a quite affordable price and a set of features perfect especially for a young target audience but suitable for anyone.

It is called LG Optimus Hub and it is one of the most recent LG smartphones to hit store shelves before Christmas.
Powered by the Android 2.3 operating system, the LG Optimus Hub is a perfect tool for staying connected to your social world and for having the web, calls, and many features at your fingertips.
As for the interface, it is the Optimus 2.0, supported by 512 MB of RAM and an 800 MHz processor which perhaps could have been more powerful, given that the most prominent smartphones currently mostly feature 1 GHz processors. However, LG is preparing to announce that, from tests carried out, this processor is 33% faster “compared to the CPU of smartphones in the same class”.
The display is a 3.5-inch multitouch with a virtual QWERTY keyboard and a resolution of 320×480, which not only places it among the larger screens but also ensures excellent brightness, as it features 550 nits (candela/m2). Durability is guaranteed by Gorilla Glass, making it a more than satisfactory touchscreen.
DLNA and Wi-Fi Direct facilitate connectivity and rapid sharing, and speaking of which, it should be noted that the LG Optimus Hub already has integrated widgets for quick and direct access to Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace.
The camera is 5 Megapixels with autofocus, also capable of recording videos.
The battery is also good, a 1500mAh Li-ion that ensures up to 4 hours of talk time or up to 100 hours of standby time.
User memory is 150MB but can be expanded using a MicroSD up to 32GB.
LG Optimus Hub has a recommended retail price of 199 euros.
