LG Optimus F5 and LG Optimus F7 are the two new LG smartphones that will be showcased during WMC 2013 but have already been unveiled: here are some previews.
The two new smartphones LG Optimus F5 and LG Optimus F7 will be officially showcased at the World Mobile Congress 2013 in Barcelona, but the manufacturing company has decided to reveal their main features in advance.
This is a strategic move to be evaluated by industry professionals with a set of known details, using the global platform offered by WMC 2013 to precisely unveil all the technical characteristics of the two new devices.
At the moment, LG has officially announced that both smartphones run on the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system and that they are models suitable for connection to new LTE (or 4G) networks.
Regarding the LG Optimus F5, the device features a 4.3-inch qHD screen with a resolution of 960×540 pixels and 256 ppi.
The technological heart consists of a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and 1 GB of RAM, accompanied by 8 GB of basic internal memory, expandable with a microSD card.
There are two cameras: the main one is 5 Megapixels, while the front one is 0.3 megapixels, being of VGA type. The previews for this smartphone conclude with the indication of the battery capacity: it is 2150 mAh.
The LG Optimus F7 has an edge, with a dual-core processor running at 1.5 GHz, supported by 2 GB of RAM. The internal memory capacity remains unchanged: still 8 GB, like its “younger brother.”
The screen is also different: it’s a 4.7-inch IPS TrueHD at 312 ppi. The photographic compartment is more powerful: the main camera is 8 megapixels, while the front one is 1.3 megapixels.
As one might logically expect, the battery will be more powerful, with its declared 2540 mAh.
For more details on the other features of the new LG smartphones and to know the release date and their respective selling prices, we will need to wait for the start of WMC 2013 in Barcelona.
