A few hours before its presentation during an event in London, the technical specifications of the LG G3 have been officially released.
Just a few hours before the official LG G3 presentation, the company has already ensured that the official features of the new device have circulated.
The component details have indeed appeared on LG’s Dutch corporate website, effectively making it a true announcement.
It is therefore revealed that the LG G3 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and Android operating system, although the version has not been specified; however, it is reasonable to assume it could be 4.4.2 KitKat. Doubts also exist regarding the available RAM: according to some rumors preceding the announcement on the Dutch website, 2 GB of RAM were mentioned, while LG announces 2 GB. No uncertainty, however, regarding the internal storage, which is 16 GB by default, with the possibility of expansion via microSD card.
As for the display, it is 5.5 inches with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels.
There are then two cameras: the main one, located on the back cover, is 13 megapixels and features a new focusing system; the secondary one is located on the front and is 2.1 megapixels.
All of this is supported by a 3000 mAh battery.
Regarding the design, the device features a metallic finish, is sleek, streamlined, and elegant, “enclosed” within a thickness of 8.9 millimeters. The available colors will be three: gold, white, and gray.
At the moment, it is not yet possible to communicate the price of the LG G3 as it has not been officially announced by the manufacturer.
However, it is obvious that this is a smartphone that positions itself in the top-of-the-range segment and therefore in the high-end category also from a monetary perspective.
