Theebook reader most well-known, Amazon’s Kindle is also on sale in Italy: after much anticipation, it arrives with a load of new features and an attractive price.
After the arrival of Amazon in Italy, finally the most anticipated item in its catalog can also be purchased on the Italian platform: Kindle, the ebook reader par excellence, makes its debut on Amazon.it. For 99 euros, the new generation Kindle is already available for order, sure that it won’t be short of content for long.
Along with the sale of the device, in fact, Amazon has simultaneously announced the opening of the Kindle Store in Italian, with its library of 16,000 titles already available for download and purchase.
By combining the total number of Italian texts with those in other languages, Amazon therefore ensures a total availability of 900,000 titles as of today.
The figure is destined to grow, since Amazon is now also acting as a publisher in the market; this means that anyone can publish and sell their novel or manual thanks to the new service Kindle Direct Publishing, to publish their works and put them online.
Once you have downloaded an ebook from Amazon, a copy will be automatically saved in the Worry-Free Archive, in the cloud.
This way, ebooks can be accessed at any time not only on Kindle but also on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, PC, Mac, and any Android device.
Furthermore, it’s not always necessary to make purchases and therefore pay to download ebooks: there are numerous ones available for free.
Finally, to offer the reader an overview of the book of interest, you can read one or more initial chapters before starting the purchase process.
Kindle can host up to 1400 books, therefore it is excellently suited to becoming a small library in the palm of your hand.
The next commercial proposal awaited by the Italian audience is undoubtedly the Kindle Fire, Amazon’s tablet that is already a bestseller in the United States and strongly desired in Europe as well.
